Jennifer is an intuitive healer and yoga teacher specializing in ancient forms of movement, mantra, mudra, and meditation, also known as kriya or kundalini yoga.
Her yoga journey began over two decades ago, sparked by a personal search for balance and healing. This exploration led her to kundalini yoga, an enriching and nourishing practice that aligns with her passion for self-discovery and spiritual transformation. Jennifer earned her kundalini yoga teaching qualification from the trauma-informed program at Yoga Farm in Ithaca, New York, where she deepened her understanding of yoga philosophy and learned valuable teaching techniques.
As a yoga teacher, Jennifer takes modern, diverse and inclusive approach to yoga that is reflected in how she adapts to the unique needs of each of her students. She also recognizes the importance of a safe and inclusive space, ensuring that you feel understood and supported as you navigate your yoga journey.

To lead others through their own inner fires, one must have been through one’s own. She firmly believes that healing is possible and accessible for everyone, regardless of one’s past history or current situation.
Prior to embarking on her yoga and spiritual wellness journey, Jennifer was an accomplished swimmer who competed in the US Olympic Trials and the US World Open, trained at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, and swam for the NCAA Pac10 women’s team at University of California, Berkeley. After graduation, she built a successful career managing web content for major companies in tech and entertainment, before embarking on a path of utilizing her expertise in holistic wellness to help people enhance their health. She grew up skiing, hiking and camping in the mountains of her home state, Colorado, and today enjoys outdoor activities all over the American west.
Her active lifestyle embodies her belief in the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Jennifer is passionate about helping others achieve the fullest expression of their own unique healthful vitality. Kriya yoga, sometimes called kundalini yoga, is a yoga practice that involves a series of dynamic movements, breath control techniques, meditation, and the chanting of mantras. This combination helps to move stagnant energy in our physical bodies, as well as activate and strengthen our metaphysical energy systems such as our auras, chakras and life force energies like prana and kundalini.
Kriya yoga is an ancient, transformative style of yoga that offers a unique blend of physical, mental, and spiritual benefits.
Often called “spine yoga,” this accessible, four-part yoga practice focuses on gentle movements of the spine that, when done repetitively along with guided breathwork, create a sense of calm, euphoria, and greater well-being.
One of the primary benefits of kriya yoga is stress reduction. Through its combination of movement and meditation, practitioners often experience a greater sense of relaxation and clarity, which can help alleviate daily stress and anxiety.
Kriya yoga can also improve physical health. The postures and movement sequences enhance flexibility, strength, and balance. They stimulate glandular and hormonal systems, while also promoting better circulation and respiratory function. This holistic approach encourages a stronger mind-body-spirit connection.
Mental clarity and focus are key benefits of this practice. The meditative aspects help improve concentration and enhance cognitive function, making it easier to navigate daily challenges and cultivate a better mental state. Much modern research has been done on the positive effects this ancient practice has on cognitive function.
On a spiritual level, kriya yoga encourages self-awareness and personal growth. By delving into breathwork and meditation, practitioners can develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their life purpose, fostering a sense of inner peace and fulfillment.
This is a truly comprehensive yet accessible yogic practice that promotes physical strength, mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual growth, making it a valuable addition to anyone's wellness routine.

Mantra
Ancient chants designed to affect subtle energies in the body and stimulate the pituitary and pineal glands.
-
Mudra
Mudras are hand gestures used in yoga that help channel energy along certain pathways, or meridians, in the body.
-
Movement
Yoga is about so much more than just moving the body, but movement is an essential component. Breathwork, or pranayama, is a form of movement integral to yoga.
-
Meditation
Mantra, mudra, and movement all prepare the body for meditation, which is the process of learning to observe your thoughts, rather than be attached to them.
